Easy to use:
• tapping on BPM number enables keypad input to change tempo from 20 up to 999 BPM
(tap and slide the pendulums weight to change BPM, too)
• tap time signature button to choose measures from 2/1 up to 12/12
choose "no signature" to disable accentuation of the 1st measure
• start metronome: slide the pendulum to left or right and release
• stop metronome: tap once

Good job! Finally a metronome that can disable Note signature!
The only one working with display turned off. I tried four others as well.
Dont go buy a metronome, just get this app. It works perfectly, whilst some other metronome apps dont stay in beat and sometimes skip beats. And its so shiny! It also has all the time signatures you need. And the sound is at a good level too. And thank you sooo much for putting those words for the different speeds in, too! I always forget those. Seriously, you can MAKE money with this app! Just buy this and sell your metronome. This is all youll need. The new update has made this even better! The ability to enter in specific numbers works well, and now theres even more time signatures. The only suggestion I can think of is the ability to type in custuom time signatures too. You can make this app into a fun game, actually. Because you can play music over top of the metronome clicks, its really fun to try to get the metronome to go the same speed as your songs. Then get it to the same time signature too, but quickly, before the song ends! I do this a lot when Im listening to music. This made me discover that some of my songs change time signatures in the middle of the song. I learned something new from this!
First get ur facts straight..no such thing as 8/4, 7/4, or 5/4 timing, unless possibly ur refering to hybrid time? Second prestissimo is sycopated kinda..and messed i think. Plz try to fix these and maybe add some compound timing? Great app still!!omg this owns now after update w00t!! You pplz fixed everything ppl asked 4 so that OWNS! Thx >.>
They do exist, 8/4 is not particularly common, but the others are pretty common especially 5/4 stop acting like a jerk. Mission impossible is in 5/4
The new update fixed all of the problems that I was having with this app! The only time when this app loses maybe a 32nd of a second is when you change the volume very rapidly. Great work keep it up!!!

Some bad moments

This metronome is a good start, although, it kinda misses the purpose of a mentronome. Sure is shiney and pretty looking, but just quickly testing it, I set it to 5/4 timing at 208 and it doubles up on count 1 on every other whole beat. I like the idea and the looks, its jsut too bad that its not consistent like a metronome should be. Keep it up!
As a previous reviewer said, it doesnt keep proper time. It is more obvious when the tempo is faster, and an odd timing such as 5/4, again as the previous reviewer said. Basically, I wanted to second that review. The problem is the sound samples used for the metronome sounds. They must not be short enough or they are cropped improperly. If this could be fixed, this would be an awesome app that I would definitely find really useful and helpful. Allowing the user to set the time signature and showing the description of the tempo is awesome. I like the visual look of the metronome. I would also find it useful if the metronome would not move back and forth while you are setting the slider. Some kind of latch as some real metronomes have would be good. Then you unlatch and set in motion with a swipe to get it going! Finally a little pop-up that let you enter the tempo you wanted would be useful if you preferred to do that, rather than to slide the slider, as it can be tricky to get the exact number you want sometimes.
Fine for basic stuff, but when the iPhone goes to sleep the metronome slows down. Also kind of hard to set tempo accurately because the slider is too short. I will check it out again if there is a new update.
This app doesnt keep proper timing. And we all know how important that is. Its mediocre.
This metronome is great except that in classical keyboard music I need a simple tick sound not two! Being force to use a 2/4 3/4 etc when you have emiola for example is anoying!!!! Or when the 2 sounds are notes in a different key than the one you are playing!!!
The volume is really low. The click gets buried even when using headphones
