Metronome - reloaded App Reviews

Play an exercise for more than a minute, (the default setting for autolock) and the phone goes to sleep. Kinda makes the app useless.

Im going to open by reminding you all that this is a free app. FREE. I was using another metronome app until I found this. Two features this app has that I really enjoy is the ability to type in a tempo and the ability to work with custom time signatures. Now addressing the complaints of it being off time. At least for me I had to calibrate it using the adjustment bar on the bottom of the time signature menu. Of course it will still fall ahead of another metronome eventually but seriously what difference does .01% bpm really make?

The custom time signatures are handy bit this metronome isnt steady. Ive been practicing with a real metronome all day long and downloaded this one. In a few seconds I could hear that it speeds up and slows down often. Not by much but any diversion of tempo makes a metronome useless. Try another one. It also stops after a minute or two which eliminates the ability to use this for any length of time.

I love this app. It helps me get an idea of how fast or slow I need to tap my foot. It helps me keep tempo with myself.

As the title says, Metronome Reloaded is a great app for me. It is used primarily with cognitive skills training, specifically, metronome training (often for children with ADHD and Autism). It is also nice that it allows for the option of changing signatures (also very good for metronome training). Additionally, the best way I have found to keep it from "shutting down", is to change auto-lock settings to "never". Lastly, I think one of the greatest improvements for me would be updating Metronome Reloaded to include Background Play. It would be nice to switch through apps while keeping the beat.

Great great program. Just unacceptable to stop when screen darkens!

Start/stop makes me crazy! There should be a designated button separate from the speed control. We dont use the old pendulum style metronomes anymore for a reason!

This is very bad!

The start/stop button is the "Vivace." The major flaw lies in the time signature. "Beats per measure notes per measure" is completely wrong and can really throw a new musician off. It should be "Beats per measure, Length of beat." Ex.: if it were in 5/8, the measure would consist of five eighth notes. However in this brilliant app, everything is a quarter note.

This is a great metronome app but I gave it a three because it sometime wont stop and it cuts off.

Very pretty, gets the job done. Easy to set up. Has a "no signature" setting that I found very useful.

Sure, it would be nice to have added features like a different tone to listen to or maybe louder volume, but its free. The ability to trim the speed in order to compensate for differences in devices and other software worked well and its simple to tune, you just have to be willing to take about 5 or 10 minutes to do so. I compared the tempo to a stopwatch I found online and listened to it for a minute to make sure the count of bpm i heard matched what the stopwatch read, so one minute times however many different tunings I tried is how long it takes to make it right, but its possible to do! Overall, pretty good.

Accurate, great graphics, shows tempo names, accents the first beat, any time signature. No distracting ads! Free. What more do you need? Thanks guys.

It works great for me. It keeps time better than I do, so thats really all that matters to me. Note that you can set the speed offset in the settings, so for the people who say it doesnt keep time, try that option? The best part is being able to type in a BPM instead of relying on dials and sliders. My only complaint is that the UI is unintuitive. I had to read other peoples reviews before I could figure out how to make it work.

This is a metronome. This app has successfully given a simple metronome a nice UI, but still works. And the ability to type in the tempo, genius! Unfortunately, the metronome stops when my iPhone locks. I refuse to change my auto-lock settings to "never". Why should anyone? I hope this is fixed.

Simple UI. Keeps time, worth more than what I paid. No issues to report.

So fustrating when hard to stop! There should be a button or something. Also inaccurate! Other wise, Id give it 5 Stars

The tempo drifts and isnt dead on. Fail.
