This version popped up a full-screen ad and jumped me into Safari.

I like how this app looks just like a "real, old fashioned" metronome. Just what I need in private lessons or in class.

I got this app years ago now, it was one of the first free metronome apps. It still works great and is easy to use.

In spite of one small glitch I gave this 5 stars instead of 4 because of the great customer service. The only problem is that the very important blue “i” (Info) icon that you must touch to set the time signature and beats per measure has such low contrast that I didn’t see it. When I wrote to the company they replied within 30 minutes and solved my problem. (The info icon is located on the lower right of the metronome base. Notice that in the iTunes image you can’t even see it.) This is also one of the few metronome apps that allow you to have no beat accented as an option.

This app is simpler to use than other similar apps. More responsive and has ALL the numbers ! 2 slight annoyances: Sometimes its hard to get the stick moving. And, the movement has a stiff, "CGI" quality - - which actually, when youre accustomed to it, can be a plus !-

I find it hard to start and stop the metronome without changing the bpm accidentally. I think a simple start and stop button would be immensely helpful (maybe at the bottom of the ticker)
